Player data should have a clear purpose.

1. Information we collect

When you create or use an Empire Acres account, we may collect:

• Account information: your private username, securely transformed PIN credentials, session information, and account creation date.
• Founder and gameplay information: character choices, display names, land, businesses, upgrades, Customer Scores, cash, XP, levels, quests, achievements, automation, settings, save timestamps, and offline earnings.
• Leaderboard information: your public display name, archetype, Player Level, cash on hand, and empire income rate when your founder is eligible for rankings.
• Engagement information: session counts, approximate time spent playing, last activity, gameplay events, and progression statistics used in the private platform-owner dashboard.
• Support information: the name, reply email, subject, and message you submit through the contact form. A one-way hash derived from the network address may be used to rate-limit abuse.
• Technical information: device, browser, network, and diagnostic information ordinarily generated when a browser communicates with our hosting and security providers.

2. Optional analytics

Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose Allow Analytics. It helps us understand traffic, device categories, general engagement, and where players encounter difficulty. If you choose Essential Only, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded by Empire Acres.

You can change that choice at any time using the controls above. When analytics is disabled, Empire Acres attempts to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies associated with this site.

3. How we use information

• Provide accounts, separate founder saves, offline earnings, gameplay, and leaderboards.
• Secure the game, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect leaderboard integrity.
• Measure balancing, progression, reliability, and engagement so we can improve the game.
• Respond to support messages and recover or investigate player accounts when practical.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce the Empire Acres Terms.

4. When information is shared

We do not sell player personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate hosting, databases, security, analytics, and email. Google receives analytics information only when you consent. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, or complete a business transfer.

5. Public information

Leaderboard display names and the related rank statistics are visible to other players. Do not use a display name that reveals information you do not want public. Usernames, PIN credentials, support email addresses, and private owner-console data are not displayed on public rankings.

6. Retention and security

Account and save information is generally retained while the account remains active. Support, security, and diagnostic records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer requests, protect the service, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed for a lightweight browser game, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and requests

You may choose Essential Only analytics, change a founder display name, decline to participate in eligible leaderboards by contacting support, or request access, correction, or deletion of account information. Because accounts do not currently require a verified email address, we may need reasonable information to verify that a request concerns your account.

8. Children

Empire Acres is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A player who has not reached the age of digital consent where they live should use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information improperly.

9. International use and policy changes

Information may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our service providers. We may update this policy as the game and its services change. Material revisions will be identified by a new last-updated date.
